Lead Program Execution: End-to-end responsibility for Battery IPT workstreams. You define milestones, manage budgets, and ensure that technical requirements translate into operational reality.
Matrix Leadership: Orchestrate collaboration between the Battery IPT, wider engineering teams, production, and the central PMO. You ensure that everyone is aligned on the mission-critical path for our battery systems.
Stakeholder & Interface Management: Act as the key operational link between the Battery Team Lead and the Lead PMO. You translate technical hurdles into actionable business decisions and ensure transparent reporting.
Advanced Risk & Opportunity Management: Proactively identify technical, certification, and logistical bottlenecks specific to battery development. You don’t just surface risks; you develop and execute mitigation strategies.
Optimize the Playbook: Design and implement scalable PMO processes directly within the Battery IPT. You help STARK transition from a fast-growing startup to a structured, high-output defense powerhouse.
Resource & Capacity Planning: Work closely with the Battery Team Lead to ensure that engineering talent is deployed where it has the highest impact on the program’s success.
Timeframe
Focus
Month 0–2: Integration
Deep dive into STARK’s tech stack, central PMO structures, and the Battery IPT. Take over a significant sub-project and establish yourself as the trusted operational right-hand to the Battery Team Lead.
Month 2–6: Delivery
Own a major battery program milestone (e.g., prototype testing, safety sign-off, or production ramp-up). Drive the "Definition of Ready" and ensure all gates are passed with high-quality documentation.
Month 6–12: Project Mastery
Take full operational ownership of the Battery IPT's project portfolio. Lead mid-term planning, manage significant budgets, and ensure seamless synchronization with overall platform roadmaps.
