Human Resources Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Specialist to support our HR operations and contribute to a positive employee experience. The successful candidate will assist with recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, and compliance with employment laws and company policies. This role requires strong organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
- Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
- Administer employee benefits and respond to employee inquiries.
- Support performance management and employee development initiatives.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and compliance programs.
- Prepare employment contracts, HR reports, and other documentation.
- Help resolve employee relations issues and provide guidance on company policies.
- Coordinate training sessions and employee engagement activities.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with managers to support workforce planning and talent acquisition.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Human Resources or a similar role.
- Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and HR policies.
- Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR certification (such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent).
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Knowledge of payroll and benefits administration.
- Experience working in a multinational or fast-paced environment.
