Als Gärtner/in bist du der Pflanzenspezialist schlechthin. – „Leben zum Blühen bringen“, das trifft für das Gärtnerhandwerk besonders zu. Die Hauptaufgabe besteht darin, Pflanzen zu vermehren, zu ernten und zu lagern sowie für deren Verkauf zu sorgen. Die Stiftung Attl bietet dir dazu zwei verschiedene Fachrichtungen an:
Beim Gemüsebau wirst du zum Experten für den Anbau von vielen verschiedenen Gemüsearten. Vom Blattgemüse bis zum Fruchtgemüse spezialisierst du dich auf bestimmte Sorten und Anbaumethoden.
Beim Zierpflanzenbau wirst du zum Spezialisten für den Anbau von Schnittblumen, Beet-, Topf- und Balkonpflanzen. Dein Einsatzort sind die Gewächshäuser, ist aber im Sommer auch im Freien. Aus Saat oder Stecklingen ziehst du wunderschöne Ziergewächse und bringst sie in den Verkauf.
Ausbildungsdauer: 3 Jahre, Verkürzung der Ausbildung möglich*.
Ausbildungsbetrieb/ Ausbildungsvertrag: Am Beginn schließt du mit uns als anerkannter Ausbildungsbetrieb einen Ausbildungsvertrag ab. Bei der Berufsausbildung wirken Ausbildungsbetrieb, Berufsschule und überbetriebliche Ausbildungsstätten zusammen. Die Berufsschule besuchst du dabei in der Regel einmal wöchentlich.
Voraussetzungen: Voraussetzung ist ein Mittelschulabschluss.
