Your tasks
We are looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer (Microsoft 365 & Windows) to take technical ownership of our business IT landscape and further develop our Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace environment. In this role, you will combine deep technical expertise, operational responsibility, and project work while ensuring reliable, scalable, and efficient internal IT services across the organisation.
- Take technical ownership of the business IT environment, with a strong focus on Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace
- Administer, optimize, and further develop Windows and macOS clients, the Microsoft 365 stack, and related services, including endpoint management, identity and access management, security baselines, and device compliance
- Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support for complex technical issues
- Ensure smooth helpdesk operations through technical guidance, documentation, and escalation support
- Drive IT projects, system improvements, migrations, and automation initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and translate business requirements into reliable IT solutions
- Support standardization and continuous improvement of IT processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing
Your Profile
- Several years of experience as a Systems Engineer, IT Administrator, or in a similar role in a Windows/Microsoft 365 environment
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace technologies
- Strong knowledge of Windows clients, macOS, Entra ID / Active Directory
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, security, networking, and operational processes
- Experience with IT projects, migrations, and process improvements
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
- Experience with the Atlassian tool stack, especially Jira and Confluence, is an advantage
- Structured, proactive, and solution-oriented way of working
