About the Role
As the
Head of Enterprise (m/w/d) for Germany, you will be a senior commercial leader responsible for the growth and success of Uber Eats' most high-impact partners. You will sit at the intersection of leadership, commercial strategy, and executive-level relationship management, ensuring that our largest partners achieve long-term value on our platform.
In this role, you will lead a high-performing team of over seven Account Managers, driving a customer-centric culture that balances local market needs with Uber's global objectives. We are looking for a strategic heavy hitter with a proven track record in complex negotiations, data-driven optimization, and leading teams through fast-paced, matrixed environments.
What You Will Do
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead with Vision: Attract, coach, and empower a high-performing team of 7+ Account Managers.
- Culture & Growth: Foster a culture of performance, accountability, and customer obsession where your team can thrive.
- Succession & Feedback: Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and build professional development pipelines to create the next generation of leaders.
Commercial Strategy & Execution
- Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a customer growth strategy for Germany that aligns with local operations and global go-to-market objectives.
- Data-Driven Optimization: Use analytical ability and operational rigor to optimize account segmentation, expansion plays, revenue targets, and pricing models.
- Business Impact: Steer joint business planning and revenue expansion, ensuring sales forecasting and pipeline management are effectively executed.
- Process Excellence: Implement best-in-class processes and project management skills to track KPIs and drive partnership metrics effectively.
Customer & Market Engagement
- Trusted Advisor: Build and cultivate trust-based relationships with C-level and senior stakeholders at Uber Eats Germany's most strategic partners.
- Solution Selling: Negotiate complex deals and unlock long-term value by advancing partner priorities across the full Uber Eats Delivery product portfolio.
- Market Insight: Monitor trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to adjust strategies and expand Uber's footprint in key segments.
Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with Territories, Restaurant Operations, Eater Operations, Product, and Marketing teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Regional & Global Synergy: Engage with peers internationally to share learnings, contribute to global enterprise playbooks, and scale best practices.
- Advocacy: Use customer feedback to influence product development and represent Uber at industry events and executive-level engagements.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or commercial leadership roles.
- Leadership: A proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams, ideally in a fast-growth or tech environment.
- Language Skills: English is mandatory; German is highly preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Full proficiency in Google Workspace for executive storytelling and data analysis.
- Senior Engagement: Excellent ability to engage, influence, and negotiate with C-level and VP-level stakeholders.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong data-driven approach to decision-making and experience working in complex, matrixed global organizations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry Expertise: Experience operating in the tech, eCommerce, or German F&B industry (including FMCG partnerships).
- Professional Background: Experience in strategy consulting (MBB), business development in Big Tech, or high-growth scale-ups.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of SQL is considered a significant advantage.
