Job Title: Sales Manager – Germany

Role Purpose
We are hiring a pure New Business “Hunter” Sales Manager to accelerate growth across Germany.
This role is not account management and does not replace the existing Germany Sales Director. Instead, it adds commercial bandwidth in a market too large and opportunity‑rich for one individual to fully cover.
The successful candidate will focus 80–90% on hunting new customers, systematically prospecting, opening doors, and converting new accounts—particularly within the North Sea seafood corridor and broader food processing and distribution markets.
Key Responsibilities
Proactively identify, target, and win new customer accounts across Germany within seafood, meat, and broader food packaging markets
Execute structured prospecting activities (cold outreach, warm leads, events, trade fairs) across a large and underpenetrated territory
Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities and convert pilots into framework agreements and long‑term customersLead commercial discussions including pricing, volumes, and contractual terms for new business
Work closely with the Hamburg‑based Germany Sales Director to ensure clear territory and account ownership
Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance) to deliver competitive, customer‑aligned solutions
Maintain accurate CRM reporting, weekly pipeline updates, and monthly forecasts to Germany leadership and Norway HQ
Represent FBS/Amcor at key industry events, including fish international and relevant food industry forums
Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years B2B field sales experience, ideally in food packaging, industrial packaging, seafood, meat, or cold‑chain environments
Demonstrable hunter profile: clear evidence of winning new logos in a competitive B2B market
Comfortable spending the majority of time in the field (3–4 days per week with customers)Strong negotiation skills and commercial mindset
Native or C2‑level German; working English required for group reporting
