What You Will Do
- Execute and update test cases to verify the quality of localized content.
- Test product/game translation quality, consistency, and language correctness according to given specifications.
- Report bugs in line with project requirements, providing constructive suggestions for solutions.
- Analyze products through gameplay and testing to gain insights and provide feedback for improvements.
- Acquire knowledge of testing methodologies and the video game market.
- Share knowledge with other members of the testing team.
- Ensure cultural correctness in the target market for your language and verify console terminology for accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with test leads and international testers to ensure comprehensive testing coverage.
- Perform administrative tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform other activities necessary for the proper conduct of work in accordance with the supervisor's instructions.
- Observe procedures related to the job.
To Be Successful You Will Have
- Native-level speaker of the target language and expert knowledge of its’ culture.
- Proficient in both written and verbal English communication at an upper intermediate level.
- Availability to work 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (with a fixed 1-hour lunch break).
- Readiness to test on-site in the Berlin office at Leuschnerdamm 31, 10999.
- Eligibility to work in Germany.
- Passion for video games and broad knowledge of video game platforms.
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Game Localization, Translation, or Proofreading is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Flexible, pro-active and team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and effectively.
- Ability to work under pressure as well as independently with minimal supervision.
- Preferred higher education in languages or technology.
