Supervise mechanical construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.
Oversee welding, fabrication, installation, testing, and inspection activities related to LNG tank construction.
Monitor project progress and ensure construction milestones are achieved according to schedule.
Provide technical guidance on mechanical engineering matters and support the resolution of site issues.
Review technical documentation, drawings, specifications, and contractor submissions.
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, industry standards, and project procedures.
Coordinate with contractors, engineering teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and execution.
Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up activities.
Manage punch list items and ensure timely closure before final project handover.
Prepare progress reports and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 15 years of experience in mechanical supervision on large-scale industrial projects.
Proven experience in LNG tank construction or similar energy/infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of welding, fabrication, mechanical installation, and quality control processes.
Experience with NDT, inspection activities, and commissioning procedures.
HSE-focused mindset with relevant safety certifications.
Knowledge of international engineering standards and construction best practices.
Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
Strong leadership, communication, and contractor management skills.
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary and international project environment.
