WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Software Development Engineer (m/f/d) in the field of verification, you will develop test concepts in accordance with the V-Model and ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 and be responsible for the verification of software and systems in the automotive sector.
Your Responsibilities:
Analyzing and coordinating complex technical interdependencies in software and hardware development for vehicle systems
Designing, planning, developing, and integrating test environments for control units
Developing test software in scripting and high-level languages
Specifying and conducting functional tests using DOORS
Coordinating with the development and quality departments
Commissioning and managing subcontractors/engineering service providers to handle subprojects
This position is available in Kassel or Kiel.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU SHOULD HAVE
A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, communications engineering, computer science, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in software development or software verification
Experience in methodical software or systems development
Experience in developing safety-critical components in accordance with ISO 26262 / IEC 61508 is a plus
Experience working with DOORS is desirable
Very good written and spoken German, as well as good written and spoken English
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to travel occasionally for work
